Support Our Science has sent a letter of concern to the Prime Minister, calling for sustained, long-term support for researchers across all disciplines. Without continued investment, projects will stall, talent will be lost, and Canada’s research ecosystem will suffer. Researchers know that progress isn’t built in a single year — it requires lasting commitment.

We have sent a letter of concern to the Prime Minister’s Office, as well as to Ministers Joly and Champagne. Research — and the researchers behind it — must be a priority for this government. Without meaningful, sustained support, Canada risks falling behind. The time to act is now.
